Happy Solarium Customers November 2018

We have had a great year changing the lives of cats all around the world. When James and I started this venture, we had no idea of the wonderful feedback we would receive from our human customers. We just thought we were making the Solarium to give cats a way to get outside and be safe. But many of our customers have told us that the Cat Solarium has changed the life of their cat. Here are a few of the stories.

A cat, Gypsy, who had lost her two other cat siblings, became very depressed. Gypsy’s human said that after the two other cats passed away, Gypsy completely changed. She was moopy, lethargic, and acted sad. There were no other cats to cuddle with, clean, play with or chase. Once Gypsy’s human installed the Cat Solarium she quickly came to life. She enjoyed the bird feeder and bird bath placed about 10-15′ away from her Solarium. She could hear the birds chirp and watch them fly. Within a few days, Gypsy became more friendly with her humans and more affectionate. Her owner was amazed.

A woman in California that lived in a retirement community found out that someone was killing the feral cats in the neighborhood. This upset her very much, so she had one of the cats trapped and brought it into her home. The problem was, she has two other indoor cats that did not have the “street smarts” as the feral. So the feral went into a guest bedroom. She was heartbroken for him. He had spent all his life, 8-10 years outdoors fending for itself. Now it was stuck in a room with a window. The human became desperate to figure something out for the cat. She found the Cat Solarium and ordered on right away. Within a week she received the Cat Solarium. Now the cat at least has the opportunity to feel like he is outdoors, he is safe and moreover, he is still alive.

Another cat, Opal, received bad news that she had cancer on her front paw. The only way to save her was to amputate her leg. Opal had no way of understanding what was going on or why, when she woke up, she only had three legs. She was left to figure things out on her own. It was a terrible transition for her. Mentally and physically she just lost it. But her human found the Cat Solarium and called me. As soon as I hear the story I printed out a shipping label and bumped Opal’s order to the front of the line. Sometimes you have to do what is right in your heart. In 2 days time Opal received her Solarium and in days we received an email with rave reviews about the change in Opal. Having the feeling of being outside gave Opal independence she needed to heal and adjust to her new life.
